Speed limits are in place of a Maximum limit. Need to assess any road hazards and conditions to make an informed decision of the current speed to apply.

Driving in rain or fog, with headlights on and a greater following distance. It emphasizes the need to drive more cautiously under poor visibility or slippery road conditions.
Staying in the correct lane, with clear lane markings and no weaving between lanes. Making sure to move back to the left lane after overtaking, which is crucial on highways.
Do you know the different types of crossing? Who has priority? Stopping at a zebra crossing or a pelican crossing where pedestrians are waiting to cross. Make sure to be vigilant and yield to pedestrians.
Do you know what the road signs picture is telling you? Look out for road signs, road markings and other road users signals. (some signs might be hidden in the bushes and some road markings might be faded)
When approaching or exiting junctions you should show your intentions to communicate with other road users.
Look out for cyclists who will use hand gestures for their signal.
Maintaining a safe distance behind another vehicle, often depicted with a minimum of two seconds gap between them. This is to ensure there's enough time to react if the car in front suddenly slows down or stops.
Stationary hazard - Curbs, Junctions, Parked vehicles.
Developing hazard - (Moving objects) Vehicles, pedestrians, road workers etc.
Should be focusing on the road, with no mobile phone in hand, using hands free if necessary or be mindful if adjusting the radio. Emphasizing the importance of concentration of what is happening around you.
Do you know the rules over what is considered illegal? When pulling over to allow an emergency vehicle to pass. Highlighting the rule of giving way to buses and emergency services. However, do not break the law by going through a red traffic light to allow emergency vehicles to pass.
